A week of wine, riding Provence and Mont Ventoux.

6 spots available

Ahhh…June in the Luberon.   Long days of sunlight.  Well before the tourist hordes, still in school and work, leaving the endless winding roads traffic free, vacant and inviting.   The weather’s a little warmer, but not yet super hot like summer.   The village cafes are more relaxed.   All the good, none of the stress.

Welcome to the sweet spot - Ventoux style.   Your perfect opportunity to savor a last long weekend with a cycling and wine celebration around Mont Ventoux with a new trip combining DuckStore’s cycling talents with the wine & culinary skills of Rhone Wine Holidays.  http://www.rhonewineholidays.com/

The cycling around Mont Ventoux is arguably France’s best.  The winding trafficless gorges de la Nesque, the Dentelles de Montmirail with their amazing cliffs and views of Mont Ventoux , the hidden valley of Toulerenc and of course, Mont Ventoux itself, whose three different approaches each present a unique challenge and perspective of this Giant of Provence

There’s much more to this region than cycling.  After a good day’s ride you’ll relax by the pool, tasting some delicious Cotes de Ventoux wines and home cooked local fare.
