Grande Traversée des Alpes

June 8 - 14 French Alps 6 days of cycling through the famous French alpine passes: Madeleine, Izoard, la Bonnette, Turini...

Crossing French Alps from North to South

Mapped at the beginning of motor tourism, the Route des Grandes Alpes links the highest Alpine passes over a majestic route transitioning from Alpine to Mediterranean vistas. DuckStore’s 2019 twist on this classic route takes in 17 storied Tour de France cols. Ride them all in a spectacular 7-day ride over the Alpine backbone that’s forged a century of cycling exploits.

Starting in Menthon Saint Bernard along Lake Annecy, this week of cycling is for those who love the mountains and dream of riding mythical Tour de France passes.  DuckStore offers on the road support with frequent feed stops, delicious picnic lunches, daily upkeep and maintenance of your bike plus bi-lingual guides who have ridden these roads for years.

The van is also nearby if you cannot shut-up your legs or simply want to ride in the van a bit.

A ride across the French Alps has become a classic bucket list ride and we’ve spiced it up a bit.
