Carmichael Training System's VIP’s at Tour de France:  We’re excited to be partnering with Carmichael Training Systems to help organize a VIP trip during the 2014 Tour de France.

 

Le Haute Route – Pyrenees:  Duck Store providing bike and logistics support to both Carmichael Training Systems and the prestigious Toronto Aurora Ducks teams as they take on this multi-day cyclosportive. 

 

Knar Classic II:   Knar will lead and John will provide 24/7 support during the revival of this popular 'Tour de Provence' for active women during May.   It's still unclear which will be more enjoyable:  The fantastic Provencale venue, or seeing John at the womens' beck and call for a week...

 

2013
 

VIP Media Experience at the 100th Tour De France: Organized for a market leading global bicycle brand, this custom trip put 25 media and VIP’s in front-row seats on Alpe d’Huez, Le Grand Bornand, Annecy and the Champs Elysee finish Paris.

4 Couples do Provence:  When this group of friends asked DuckStore to put together a week of cycling through Provence, they were surprised to see Mont Ventoux on the agenda.  And more surprised to discover they'd all ride up Mont Ventoux and love it! 

"DuckStore kept each of us  in our comfort zone with tremendous support on the climb and none of us could believe we had climbed the giant Ventoux."


Ted & Peggy do the Alps:   This 5-day private trip took a group of friends over iconic Alpine climbs including Semnoz, Col d’Epine, Col de Croix fry, Col des Aravis, Col de la Colombiere, Col Telegraphe, Col de Galibier and L’Alpe d-Huez.

 

“Ride & Wine” Tailloires- Saint Tropez:  DuckStore chose the route and led this non-profit group on rides over 5 days from Lake Annecy in the Alps to St. Tropez on the sunny Cote d’Azur.

 

3 Families' July in Provence:   This multi sport trip for three active families blended kayaking, rockclimbing in the Gorges de Verdon and an aquatic hike with a healthy dose of riding beautiful Provencale backroads.  


2012

 

Les Domestiques in the Luberon:  A trip customized for one of Toronto's leading cycling clubs cycling some of the best roads Provence has to offer.

 

Aurora Ducks @ Le Haute Route - Alps:   Toronto's triathlon club the Aurora Ducks hired DuckStore to offer bike and rider support for 16 cyclists who completed the 2012 Haute Route event from Geneva to Nice.

 

2011

 

Mikal @ Le Tour:  DuckStore also does special trips. During week one of the 2010 TdF, Mikal experienced Le Tour as a VIP at a stage finish, handed out water bottles during a hot stage in the Jura, and rode a tandem along lake Annecy and the Soane river. An uplifting week in France for this mobility reduced cycling aficionado and everyone else involved.

 

Epic climbs of the Alps:  This group of grimpeurs wanted a week packed with riding up... and down.  DuckStore served them a trip full of epic Alpine climbs including Alpe d'Huez, Galibier, Croix de Fer, Glandon, Ornon, and Mont Ventoux. 

 

Aurora Ducks @ Raid Pyrenean:  A team from Toronto's Aurora Ducks traversed the Pyrenees in 100 hours, including sleep.  When all 12 riders completed this massive challenge, the celebration in Girona was grand.

 

Geneva to Alpe d'Huez:  Guided a group of cycling friends and co-workers through the Alps on a 4 day ride from Lac Leman over many famous TdF passes such as the Col de Romme, Col de la Colombiere, Col des Aravis, Col des Saisies, Col de la Madelene, Col de Telegraphe, Col de Galibier and last but surely not the least, Alpe d'Huez.

 

2010
 

YPO Toronto climbs Mont Ventoux:  Having accomplished Alpe d'Huez the year before, these guys were looking to combine another ultimate cycling challenge with some tasty wine.  Duck Store, Mont Ventoux and Côtes du Rhône Wines combined to deliver the perfect solution over 4 days of meetings, cycling and delightful wine accompanied dinners.

 

2009 
 

YPO Toronto climbs Alpe d'Huez: As part of a 4 day seminar, a group of 8 Young Canadian Executives all successfully rode up Alpe d'Huez.  Guided rides around Lake Annecy and Lake Bourget helped prepare them for the challenge.

 

2008


Knar Classic I -  Women in Provence:  DuckStore's Knar designed a great 5 days of cycling for a group of active women.  Rather than wives taking care of husbands, one guy (John) took care of the meals, the bikes and all the logistics for the women.
